About
Family law support, rebuilt around the person going through it
Price Family Law exists because too many people enter the family court system with no idea what happens next and no way of predicting what it will cost.

Helen's story
Fifteen years inside family law, and one persistent frustration
Helen Price has spent her career in family law, working alongside solicitors, barristers and the courts on children and financial matters. Over those years she saw the same pattern repeat: clients paying for process rather than progress, and leaving meetings less certain than when they arrived.
She founded Price Family Law to do the opposite. One point of contact, one clear strategy and one price agreed in advance. Helen handles every consultation and every review personally — your case is never passed down to someone you have not met.

Philosophy & approach
Strategy before paperwork
Most family law work begins with a form. We think that is backwards. Forms record decisions; they do not make them. So we start with the outcome you are aiming for, test whether it is realistic, and work backwards to the steps that get you there.
That means the first conversation is about your life — housing, children, work, money and what you can live with — rather than about which application to issue. By the time anything is drafted, the reasoning behind it is already settled.
Why Price Family Law was created
Three commitments that shape every piece of work
These are the standards we hold ourselves to, and the ones you should hold us to as a client.
Clarity
Every explanation is given in language you would use yourself. If you cannot repeat it back, we have not explained it well enough.
Honesty
You will hear the weak parts of your case as readily as the strong ones, early enough to do something about them.
Proportion
Not every issue is worth a fight. We help you spend your energy and money where it will actually change the outcome.
Working together

Consultations are held online or by phone, papers are shared securely by email, and everything discussed is confirmed to you in writing.

“Nobody should have to guess their way through the family court. A plan costs less than a mistake.”
Helen Price, Founder
